With: Ashlee Westerhold, Extension Area Economist, University of Idaho
Presented by the Center for Agricultural Profitability at the University of Nebraska
In this first of a series of webinars geared toward land seekers who are interested in participating in the Nebraska Land Link program, participants will learn about managing family and business relationships with conflict resolution and productive communication. Communication is key for success in all business but especially when your employees and coworkers are family members.
Nebraska Land Link is a project of Nebraska Extension’s Farm and Ranch Succession and Transition program and the Nebraska Women in Agriculture program. It works to connect land seekers with landowners who are retiring and looking to find successors. Land seeker and landowner applicants are matched with the most compatible counterparts so that a mutually beneficial partnership can be forged over the course of the transition plan. More information is available at https://cap.unl.edu/landlink.
